# Module 3: Sources

Engyon includes built-in `PBC` functionality, allowing clients to provide requested source documents directly within the platform. The methodology package contains standard document requests that are linked to procedures, ensuring that the right documents are shown alongside the relevant procedures.

Document requests can be published so that client users can view them in the application and upload the required documents.

In this module, we will publish a document request, upload the requested document, and index the source so that its content can be searched.

> In this module, no distinction is made between the different roles. All roles can perform the actions described in this module.

1. Navigate to `Sources` using the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. Within `Sources`, there is a distinction between `Provided by Client` and `Audit Documentation`.
 * `Provided by Client` refers to sources that are linked to a document request and may have been provided by the client. These sources cannot be edited.
 * `Audit Documentation` refers to sources that can be dragged directly onto an activity to support your explanation. These sources can be edited. This will be covered in more detail later.
3. Publish a selected source request so that a document can be uploaded to it. To do this, click the `Status` bar of the document request and then click the `Publish` button that appears.

After publishing the document request, it will be visible to client users and documents can be uploaded.
4. It is also possible to publish multiple document requests at once. To do this, click a phase on the left-hand side of the screen and then click the `Publish file Requests` button in the top-right corner.

 > If a document request needs to be edited, marked as not applicable, or deleted, click the three vertical dots.
8. Click the title of the source you have uploaded to view the source details or delete the source.

 > **Note:** A source cannot be deleted if it is linked to a procedure step that has been completed. To delete the source, the procedure step must first be moved back to `In Progress`. Read more about procedure statuses in the training documentation.
