# Module 10: Closing

The `Closing` page is designed to provide insight into all open items within the engagement before the audit is finalized and archived. In this module, you check whether all risk factors have been addressed, review notes have been resolved, and the engagement file is ready for archiving.

You will also see how the `Sign-Off Date` and archiving period work within Engyon.

In this module, we will review open items and further prepare the engagement file for archiving.

### Reviewing Open Items

1. Navigate to the `Closing` page using the navigation menu.
2. On this page, you will find an overview of all open items that still need to be addressed before the engagement can be finalized.
3. Click `Uncovered Risk Factors`.

From this overview, you can navigate to inherent risk factors for which no risk has been linked yet, or which have not yet been marked as `Not Relevant`.
4. Click `Open Review Notes` to view all review notes that are still open within the engagement.
5. In practice, you would then complete all remaining parts of the engagement file so that, within `Audit Archiving`, all procedures, review notes, and risks have been fully addressed.

### Sign-Off Date and Archiving

6. `Auditor` Assign the engagement a `Signature Date`.

From this date, the `60-day` period starts until archiving deadline. The team has until the end of this period to complete and archive the engagement file.
7. After the engagement file has been archived, `Audit Documentation` can no longer be changed. This safeguards the integrity of the final audit file.

   > If needed, an engagement file can be removed from the archive, after which changes can be made again. The application records who reopened the engagement file and on which date. When the engagement file is archived again, an explanation of the changes must be provided. This explanation is then shown in the `Archiving History`.
