# Module 1: Roles and Permissions

Access to an organization or audit engagement in Engyon is granted through roles, each with a predefined set of permissions. A user's permissions determine which actions they can perform within the platform. This allows organizations to control access to information and functionality with a high level of detail.

In this module, you will create an audit engagement, invite your audit team with the appropriate roles, and have each team member confirm their independence. Once completed, audit work can begin.

1. `Admin` If the client has not yet been created, navigate to `Options` (bottom left) and open `Organisation`. Refer to the `Admin Training` (from section 4 onwards). Open the `Clients` tab and create a new client.
2. `Admin` Navigate to `Options` and open the `Organisation` page from the menu.
3. `Admin` Click `+Audit` in the top-right corner.
4. `Admin` Create a new audit by clicking the create audit button.
