# Viewing mandatory files

In procedures such as `engagement acceptance`, the checklist contains the step `Include all required files in this audit`. This is how you see which files are required and complete that step.

1. Open the procedure and click `Sources` in the top right. You can also open `Sources` in the navigation bar on the left and then select the relevant procedure.
2. Behind the name of the source, it says `Required` when it is required.
3. Upload a document in this file request.
4. In the file request, click `For review`.
5. Click `Mark as ready`.

The checklist step `Include all required files in this audit` is then automatically checked.

A document that is already elsewhere in the audit does not automatically count for this file request.

If it is already in another file request, open the menu (three dots) <i class="fa-ellipsis-vertical">:ellipsis-vertical:</i>there and choose <kbd>Move files</kbd>. All files from that request will move to the request you choose. The menu item is available if the request has files and has been published.

If it is listed as audit documentation for a procedure, upload the file again in this file request. The copy in the file request is not editable after that. A reference does not satisfy the required source.
