# Requesting a RobotX test

Request a RobotX test from a procedure step, after RobotX has been linked at the audit firm level.

After the RobotX tests have been configured at the audit firm level, you can request a RobotX test from a procedure step in which that test is linked. You can directly attach documents from the client (sources). The link at the audit firm level is described in [Link RobotX](/engyon/en/admin/organisation/connect-robotx.md).

1. In the procedure step, click the play icon (<i class="fa-play">:play:</i>) at the top right and choose <kbd>Run RobotX test</kbd>.

{% hint style="info" %}
Can't see the play icon? Then one of the following is the case:

1. The procedure step is **not linked** to a RobotX test (see [Link RobotX](/engyon/en/admin/organisation/connect-robotx.md))

2. The audit was **created before** the introduction of this functionality and the procedure step first needs a [content update](/engyon/en/how-to-guides/audit/performing-a-content-update.md). The best way is to look up the content update from the relevant procedure step from which you want to start a RobotX test. To do this, go to 'settings' in the procedure step and click on 'check for updates' next to the version number. The update regarding RobotX can be identified by 'Actions available value: '\["execute\_robotx\_test"]'. If such an update is not available, then no RobotX test is linked to this procedure step.
   {% endhint %}

3. In the <kbd>Configure test</kbd> screen, fill in the following:

* **Currency** Select the correct currency. By default, the currency set in Engyon is preselected.
* **Files** Here you can see all files that have been uploaded to this procedure step. Select the files you want to send to RobotX. You do **not** need to categorize files beforehand (such as purchase invoices, bank statements, etc.).
* The selection columns are under a header that belongs to the test. For general ledger transactions, this is <kbd>General ledger transactions</kbd>. You can the rows:

  * **import** from an Excel file, or
  * **enter manually**.

  When importing:

  * Drag the Excel file into the dropbox.
  * Then link at least the **mandatory data elements** (marked with an asterisk) to the correct columns from the file.
  * These data elements come from RobotX and are specific to the selected test.

3. Click <kbd>Start</kbd> to send the request to RobotX.
4. The test result will become available in RobotX after some time.
