# Importing financial statements

A number of steps must be taken to import the draft financial statements. This page goes through these step by step and is split into a section for individual and consolidated financial statements.

{% hint style="info" %}
Important: the names of the line items in the Excel file must match the names as they are visible within Engyon in the `Checks` screen
{% endhint %}

## Individual audits

### Uploading the draft financial statement figures

Within an audit, you can find the source request Draft financial statement via `Sources` to import the draft financial statement. Or go to `General` under `Procedures` in the `Completion` phase and to the first procedure step `Closing`. Within this step is a file request where the draft financial statement can be stored.

Open this procedure and go to the `Sources` tab. Here, the figures stored in `Excel` format can be dragged onto it.

### Importing figures

Click on the file and use the play icon (<i class="fa-play">:play:</i>) to import the figures. After this, a screen is shown in which the following elements must be filled in:

* Date for the values of the figures
* Column name where the name of the financial statement line item is located
* Column name where the values can be found

After confirming the column names and pressing the `Save` button, the values will be imported. These can be found in the `Checks` screen.

## Group audits

The first step for importing the data for a group audit is identical to that of an individual audit. However, there is a different requirement for how the data looks. If you choose to import the data within the file, you as a user will get the following options:

* Date
* Elimination level: whether the eliminations are imported at group or unit level
* Column with the line items: name of the line item (see note at the top of this page)
* Column with consolidated values: these are the values at group level
* Column with eliminations: if the elimination level is `Group`, then there is only 1 choice here. If the elimination level is `Components`, then it is per component
* Then per component the choice in which column the values can be found for that component
