# Inviting a user from another organisation

Invite a user from another audit firm to an audit.

You invite a user from another audit firm to an audit, with the same roles as a colleague from your own organisation. That person already has an account and is not invited to Engyon. That person can open the audit after the invitation has been accepted. The choice between <kbd>Select organisation</kbd> and <kbd>Audited organisation</kbd> appears when you are allowed to invite someone from another audit firm.

1. Open <kbd>Settings</kbd> and go to <kbd>auditor team</kbd>.
2. Click on <kbd>add team member</kbd>.
3. Click on <kbd>Audited organisation</kbd>.
4. Fill in <kbd>Email</kbd>, <kbd>Role</kbd> and optionally <kbd>label</kbd>.
5. Click on <kbd>Add</kbd>.

Engyon reports that the request was successful. The invitation is only sent if that person already has an account, and they will appear in <kbd>auditor team</kbd> when the invitation has been accepted. No new line appears yet.

## Accepting the invitation

The invited person opens the notification. It mentions the audit firm to which the audit belongs. The person arrives at <kbd>Audits</kbd>, at this audit. Behind the title, in parentheses, is the name of that audit firm. The audit cannot be opened yet.

1. Click on <kbd>accept</kbd> to gain access to the audit.
2. Click on <kbd>reject</kbd> to delete the invitation.

If the invitation is for the group audit, you accept or reject it there. Invitations for audit units are then not shown separately. If you are only invited to audit units, it will state under the audit that you must accept it separately. Click on the icon (folder structure) <i class="fa-folder-tree">:folder-tree:</i>and accept or reject each audit unit there.

After accepting, the person appears in <kbd>auditor team</kbd>, with the name of the audit firm under the name.

A colleague from your own audit firm is added via <kbd>Select organisation</kbd>. See [Invite a Component auditor](/engyon/en/how-to-guides/audit/invite-a-component-auditor.md) when that colleague only needs to see an audit unit.
