# File requests for the trial balance, consolidation statements and financial statements cannot be deleted

Question: why can I not delete the file requests in Sources for the trial balance, the consolidation statement and the financial statements, even when they contain no documents?

Answer: The file requests for trial balances, consolidation statements and the financial statements cannot be deleted, because they are required to [ingest figures](/engyon/en/how-to-guides/importing-figures.md) into the audit. If these file requests were removed, you could no longer ingest figures.

If you do not publish a file request, the client does not see it. It is therefore not a problem that these file requests cannot be deleted.
