# This risk falls outside the scope of the audit

How to remove the message "This risk is outside the scope of the audit" when the line item in the coupled audit is not in scope.

The message `This risk is outside the scope of the audit` disappears as soon as the line item of the risk is in scope for every audit unit linked to the risk. In a group with a coupled audit, a green cell in the group audit is not enough for this. The message is not caused by only reading figures from the previous financial year.

1. Next to the name of the audit, click the network icon (<i class="fa-network-wired">:network-wired:</i>, tooltip `Navigate within the network of audits`) and open the coupled audit.
2. Go to <kbd>Typing</kbd>.
3. Click the cell of the line item, for example <kbd>revenues</kbd>, so that it is green.

Engyon checks the scope of the audit to which that audit unit belongs for each audit unit on the risk. A line item that is not yet in scope in a coupled audit only gives this message if that audit unit is also linked to the risk.
