# Location of created procedures

Question: Where do I find the created procedures in the procedures menu?

Answer: This depends on what the procedures were created for; there are 3 types:

1. **Procedures on a specific risk (line item + assertion)**: you will see these appearing at the relevant line item per assertion;
2. **Procedures on a general risk (risks at the level of the financial statements):** These apply to the entire financial statements and are therefore not displayed at a specific line item, but under 'General';
3. **General procedures on a line item (that do not relate to a risk):** These are the minimum substantive procedures on a material line item in accordance with Standard 330.18 (see also here). These are displayed under the relevant line item;

When a risk relates to both the financial statements as a whole (general risk) and specific line items + assertions, you create two risks that you link to the same Inherent Risk Factor. See also [here](/engyon/en/how-to-guides/risks/creating-a-risk.md#create-risk-with-linked-irf).
